What we collect
- Account details (name, email, company) and your seller branding (sheet title, website, phone, logo).
- Listing and vehicle data you enter or decode, modifications, and service records.
- Documents you upload (window stickers, build sheets, service invoices) and the data extracted from them — which may include third-party personal information contained in those documents.
- Limited technical data collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, and server log data — used to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To generate your spec sheets and service histories, run your account, process payments, secure the service, and send transactional email (receipts, password resets). We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it's stored & who processes it
Documents and generated files are stored in object storage (Cloudflare R2). We use third-party processors to run the service: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (automated reading of the documents you upload), Zoho (email), and vehicle-data providers (MarketCheck/NeoVIN, NHTSA). Each receives only what's needed for its function. Documents sent to our AI processor for text extraction may contain third-party personal information; that content is used only to extract your records and is not used to train AI models. These providers operate primarily in the United States.
Cookies & tracking
We use only strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, marketing pixels, session-replay or screen-recording tools, or chat tools that record conversations. We do not intercept, read, record, or eavesdrop on your communications, and we do not use trap-and-trace or "pen register" tracking software. Our pages load a small amount of styling and script code from a third-party content-delivery network (jsDelivr, served via Cloudflare), which necessarily sees your IP address in order to deliver those files.
Sharing a package
Nothing is public by default. When you share a package, you generate a link and short code that let someone sign in (or create a free account) and view a read-only copy of your spec sheet, service summary, and redacted copies of the files you uploaded — any redaction boxes you draw are burned in before a document is shown or downloaded through a shared link, and your original files are never delivered to shared viewers. Redaction covers only what you actually draw. You decide what to include and who to share with, and you can revoke access at any time, which immediately cuts off everyone who had it.
Security
Your connection to the service is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and uploaded documents and generated files are encrypted at rest by our storage provider. Access is restricted to your account, and shared packages are reachable only by people you grant access to.
Retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and security obligations, then delete or anonymize it. You can access, correct, or delete your data, revoke a shared package at any time, and contact us to request deletion of your account or documents. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA — including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it) — and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
